I received 5 copies of her book, as gifts, when I was in the rehab hospital. I never read it. Last year I met Joni in person and told her that. She laughed. Very nice lady, and her Joni and Friends organization does great work. Btw, a lot of people pronounce her name like "Joanie," but it is actually pronounced "Johnny." Don.

She is now in her 60's. She was hurt in a diving accident back in 1967' I think. She said it is getting harder every day with pain and a whole list of age related problems.
