Back in 1980 I burned one of my knuckles when I was in college. I went to the ER and there were two Doctor's Standing on either side of my gurney arguing over what should be done for me. One doctor said amputate the other doctor said skin graph. They both kept yelling back and forth to each other skin graft one would say amputation the other one would say. Finally I just yelled at the two of them " ... Hey do I get a say here at all?" I told them that I did not want either of their choices that I would try to take care of it and if I didn't succeed then I would consult one of them. I ended up being completely successful taking care of it myself with the help of the college nurse. Bobbie
