They tried Manueka or medi honey for my wound and after two days just after the dressing change I had an allergic reaction to it. I broke out in wilts and itching, my caregiver called 911 and I went to emergency by ambulance. Ive never had problems with bees or honey before. The plant the honey comes from is native to New Zealand and Australasia.
