Does anyone take medication to increase their blood pressure?

My bp is so low that sometimes the doctor can't get it to measure using the
electronic bp cuff. Some days, recently, it takes me a few hours in the morning
before my lightheaded feeling (due to low bp) goes away.

I know there are meds to help increase blood pressure but I'm always hesitant
to take more medications (side effects, interactions, etc.)

I'd appreciate any experiences you all have had.

Thank you,
Don
