A stool sample test, will determine if any infection is present in the
stomach or bowel.

I haven't discussed it with my doc. However, I've tried all sorts of gas,
acid and indigestion meds. Don't seem to do much good, Tried probiotics too.

 What has your primary advised?

Hey guys. Another health problem. I have developed considerable pain in my
lower abdomen in the last few weeks. A BM used to provide some relief, but
not anymore. It is especially painful when I first wake up in the morning.
Feels like terrible bloating with stabbing pain. It eases off some when I
roll to my back. I sleep on my left side all night without turning so my
belly is plopped out in one position all night. I have done so for several
years. Could this have caused an ulcer or some other evil entity in my
stomach? Soft drinks (1 a day), coffee (2cups), pain meds (3 percs usually).
Thanks, old buds. Larry W.
