Heres a few things I learned through my quad years that may help.

If you ever drop something on the floor and want to pick it up.
You first have to have a handle with little hook on end. ( you can make  your
own.]
Then you drop a little plastic bag that has two handles on it near the droped
item.  [you get a bag  at any store ]
Then you push the dropped item into  the bag and hook the two or one handle up
towards you to retreve.
Also you can have a roll of masking tape on end of roll where you can even pick
up a quarter or even a marble.
Its that easy.  Its funny when you pick it up and others are not  around they
are amazed wondering how you did it.

My other item for us [always ] cold quads during cold winters is to buy a
little heating pad and slide it under you pillow case.
You can just click what feels good , low med or high.  We have feeling from our
neck above so we can tell if it gets to hot. Also it has automatic shutoff
after a certain time.
I love it.

Take care
