Minimum wage is $7.25/hr. That is for one hour of 100% of the expected work at 100% efficiency. Say you have a cognitive disability that prevents you from being able to reach 100/100, you can only perform 50% of the expected work within an hour at 80% efficiency. The employer should be able to say, OK, I'll hire you for $4/hr for 20 hours a week. To me, this is MUCH better than saying, No, you're not hire able because you will never meet the standard bar.
