these doctors are guessing at best. they need to read about the definition of autonomic dysreflexia and maybe they could begin to comprehend. in any case nurse you hemmroids and get them well. keep emergency blood pressure meds close in case of a spike, but don't get your body all messed up by taking them everyday. high blood pressure isn't your problem, the prob is whats triggering the dysreflexia.

I had a bad case on Feb 1 and now just putting the sling under me, unbuttoning my pants, coughing, taking my shoes off, pulling wedge out from under my feet causes my blood pressure to sky rocket. I’ve been taking a lortab and clonidine an hour before my aid gets here but I’m still getting AD (this morning all I did was move my arm to get my water and it made me have a throbbing headache) Nicki
