Interesting. I met a woman just yesterday who is plus 40, with MS onset that began just 2 years ago. Before that she was without symptoms. Today, she lives by herself, with a powered wheelchair and very depressed. I tried to refer her to a CIL, MS Support Groups and Voc Rehab. I hope the best for her, but I doubt that she will follow up on my suggestion. She appeared to have some home care, but I don't think she has much support. MS-Onset can do that....... The DAMN power chairs could be built with a chute out the back from the seat and if Dyson or Electrolux or Bissell or Hoover don't want society's business, so be it!! REALLY!!!! ...and then look at all the duplication and cost in holding TWO separate Olympics...one for those 'NORMALS' and then immedicately afterward, doing the Para whatever Games! If everyone is in an adaptive mobility device to begin with; SHOOT!!!! We can start having just one Olympic games and get over this focusing of people's differences!
