I have had a Roho for years. I am on my 4th now or maybe even more. This laest cushion has a weird cover, one of the cells keeps popping out of the front opening of the cover, Does anyone else have this problem? Can I just put a safety pin in it or sew it up or what? Dose anybody know what it is called and how to use that slide bar? Everyday w put air in it and let some out by tuning the Conner nozzle. I then switched to a Roho air cushion and haven't had any skin issues since. The Jay cushion is more stable but it amplifies any bumps, such as sidewalk cracks, as you roll over them. The Roho is less stable for transfers but much more forgiving and cushy over bumps. Another interesting thing about air cushions is how they are affected by elevation; when I drive from Phoenix to Flagstaff--an increase in elevation of about 6,000 ft--I have to let air out of my cushion or it becomes too hard. There are pros and cons for each type of cushion. FYI, the Roho President monitors this list for any issues and feedback regarding their products. I think that is really cool and very proactive on Roho's part. We, the end users, really know how well the product works better than anyone. Don. I have been using a jay 2 gel since day 1 16 years ago and Im on my fourth one. Rohos aren't dummy proof. You have to constantly be aware of the air pressure. I also cant stand how they are to transfer out of. That was the reason I picked a gel, they have a transfer section in the front. Any therapist will tell you though if you have been using a certain style cushion for years without incident..........don't change it.
