Mr Hawkins was a regular visitor to the University of Chicago. I got to
meet him once, during a winter meeting at the UIC Campus Library where he was
suppose to give a lecture to resident scientists on the Black Hole. The
line of scientists was a funny and crazy sight. The looked much like the
guys we see on the Big Bang Theory, except they had long hair and bushy
beards, some of them waited almost an hour for Mr Hawkins arrival. After that

nights session that took 2 hours, he traveled to Planetarium to host an
meeting there for another group of rich people and their money (smiling).
Meeting him personally was quite the thing, back then.

Best Wishes

I remember when Steven Hawkings did'nt believe there was a God, Then when
scientists discovered there were other many other Galaxies--Perhaps
millions besides our Milky Way that we live in.....He said that opened his
mind to
a new way of Thinking and now he said there may very well be a God after
all. Dan H***
