I went shopping and we parked to the side of the store, it was in front of a dentist office. Had a sign for a free consults. They think they can save my tooth with a root canal and cap. It broke slightly below the gum line and has a large decay hole. Decayed under the filing. So he will cut the gums down a bit, grind away the decay, then see if there is enough tooth to put a cap on.  Think I just switch dentists. He will at least try to save the tooth, he costs less on other things, and offered to do part of a procedures to see if it will work, rather than charge for everything, then see.   Greg
