You are Damned if you do and Damned, if you don't. Each case will differ. A wheelchair, bicycle, electric wheelchair or electric scooter all share the walking lane. And yet, everyday, walkers, runners and those on bicycles are killed and injured because they were not seen. So no matter what you chose, protect thy self. In a message dated 10/23/2016 8:43:11 P.M. You guys use the bike lanes on the streets or side walks? I was using a bike lane on a main street. I was on the right side going north. That street then had a new lane for right turns only. But the bike lane stayed in place, next to the main lane. So the bike lane is between the main lane and the right turn lane. An uncomfortable feeling when you have moving cars, both going north, on each side of you. I often use the bike lane, but face on coming cars. I don't like not seeing them. I think its safer. I can pull as far over as needed. Sidewalks are too bumpy. Like bang, bang, bang, every couple feet from the gap in the concrete. Greg
