I have two iPads that I have dropped countless times.both are still going strong . Last fall I was given a surface pro 2, a very impressive machine. My wife used it during a short hospital stay. Unfortunately, the pro took a slide off the bed and went boom on the floor. SCORE iPad 2, Surface pro 0. Yes, the pro shattered. iPads are still going strong.
