I had the same problem last year beginning in March. The batteries were replaced 4 times. After asking in May to replace anything relating to charging the batteries the company finally replaced the charger (in October, didn't fix it) then battery boxes, the joystick and the 2-prong thing that the battery box slides into on the chair in December. Haven't had a problem since (knock on wood).
