Hello all,

Just wanted to give a heads up for anyone using the newest Nuance products.
Dragon NaturallySpeaking for Windows works relatively well in version 13 is
stable.

Dragon for Mac is a different story. I have been battling with Nuance support
over problems with the program crashing. Not just intermittently, but crashing
all the time. Nuance is a mega marketing company who had a product, version 4,
which was viable. Version 5 and version 6 were impossible to keep active. Since
February I have been (and many others) frustrated by the lack of support for
the Mac product.

We now are on Dragon Professional Individual version 6.07 and the crashing
problem seems to have been abated. Prepare to use the product while working
around glitches. Random letters appearing at the end of dictation, lost cursor
placement when making edits, etc.

If you are contemplating acquisition of nuance for Mac please read the
community bulletin board regarding the above issues. Let the buyer beware!
