I have been unable to solve my iCab performance problems. I think the problem started with version 2.7. (Unless the problem existed before that and I just didn't notice.)
My web pages usually have about 6 360x480 photographs. I have an ADSL connection and Navigator 4.08 will display a page in about 45 seconds. iCab finishes downloading the files in about the same time according to the bullet in the title bar. However, iCab then takes 9 minutes to render the images completely. Have a look at <http://homepage.mac.com/jimscott/20010826/index.html> as an example. This page takes 45 seconds to render in Navigator. Can anyone do better with iCab? -- Jim -- Quadlist is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
