I loaded WriteNow 4.0 on my LC 575, OS 7.5.3. The install from the two, original floppies hung the first time or two but ultimately completed. I've played with the program for 15 minutes or so and it seems to run fine.
I then downloaded the WriteNow 4.0 to 4.0.2 updater from the MacEase site, but when I run the upgrader I get this message: Could not build New WriteNow because WriteNow is not the file that this update is designed for (the nX^n 0 resource is different). What does that message mean, and is there a way to run the upgrade successfully? Thanks. Bill -- Quadlist is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
