This message written: Monday, 24 February 2003 15:54:13 PST OK, picked up an LC575 today, looking for a way to identify CD sound connections to logic board. Bad HD, but otherwise seems in good shape.
In stripping it down to get to connector harness, I need to discharge the CRT to avoid unpleasant suprises. I am afraid I need a refresher on the procedure. My inclination is to stick a screwdriver (plastic handle) under the suction cup and short to chassis ground. Anyone have a better recommendation?
