I am trying to find MacPac 2.0, an older version of the Palm desktop that I think will run on a 68040. Palm provides v1.0 for 68040, but that version, as best I can tell, does not support software installation on the handheld. Oddly, Palm jumps from 1.0 to 2.6.3, which says it requires a Power PC.
If anyone has a copy of this version or knows where the software might be archived, I would appreciate the help. I would also be greatful for any suggestions for using a Palm IIIxe with 68040s.
