>What's the trick on taking care of this issue? I would have to say disabling the AfterDark control panel. Go into the hard drive icon on the desktop. Go into the system folder. Go into control panels folder. Drag afterdark control panel into the trash. Either that or just open up the afterdark control panel and turn it off.
