the computers have their pluses and minuses and thats not what really needs to be argued here. For this science project, if he is asking on the quad list for macs, it would only be fair to use pc's of either the same age or the same price range (whichever would appear fit, but I think age would be more fair as price of old macs at thrift stores seems to be a bit lower than the same aged PC). If it is only done with old computers, you could provide a simple useability test and I think the mac would win. I have a q610 and it certainly does modern things faster than my 486 laptop that is newer, but I dont know of any real benchmarks to test that except the "feel", try running a webbrowser and a few other common apps and see which feels faster for its age, its certainly not the thinkpad. -- Quadlist is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
