Hi. I was in a local used computer store today, and they have a couple of LC 475s there that the shopkeeper said he'd be able to sell me for "like pennies" was his exact wording. He said I should come back and see him at the end of the week. I'm thinking yes, as this is a pretty good price, and I used to use Macs like that when I was in High school.
My question is: I want to know if it will be possible to connect them up to my LAN. I'm using a 10/100 cat 5 Ethernet network run by a Linksys router. It does do MAC address cloning, but I know that there's no Ethernet connection on the computer. Is it possible to connect the AppleShare port up to that? Or am I SOL as far as getting it onto a reasonable (i.e. non-dialup) internet connection. Not that that sways my decision either way, just wanted to know if it was possible, and if so, how.
