A friend found this in his 580

A laptop style packaged 68040, on a board, in the normal old everyday cpu socket of the 580.

Anyone recognise it as being out of one of the 040 laptops perhaps? a 190? Duo?. It's the same type chip package as in my powerbook 540c, but the board underneath is different.

Admittedly I'd never -seen- the insides of a 580 before, but all the other desktop 68040s I'd seen looked something like the one in my Quadra 605 - http://www.danamania.com/gallery/beige/aap

Curious!
