the linux/netbsd w/samba and cups will definitely work with any level of windows 
supporting server message block protocol, which I think is anything past Windows 3.1.

A half dozen good replies on this and MacNetwork list. The articles I 
was referred to talked about Win2k OS. We use the now "old" win98 OS on 
our labs. Can this still possibly still work with Win98?
