Here's the quadlist part: I'll be printing from my LC-580, so my limit is Mac OS 8.1. I know the Brother won't be a big deal cause it has LJ4 emulation, but what of the Stylus C84? The problem there is that the C84's drivers only work with 8.6 or above. I guess what I was hoping for was that I can just install the drivers on my iBook, copy the PPD from the iBook to the LC-580, and set it up via LPD. Will this plan of action work?
I didn't think the Stylus C84 was a postscript printer. In any case, PPDs aren't really important. You ought to try copying the driver suite over, but I wouldn't be hopeful.
