[q] Sony CRX145S on a Quadra 840

I have been using a Yamaha 8424S with my Quadra 840, but it is getting 
a bit flakey. I picked up a Sony CRX145S to use with the Quadra. The 
Yamaha 8424S was not directly supported by Toast 3.5.7 however Adeptec 
released a little patch file that allowed the Yamaha 8424S to work with 
Toast 3,5,7.

The Sony CRX145S does not work with Toast 3.5.7 either, and I have been 
unable to find a patch file for Toast 3.5.7. From what I can tell Toast 
4 requires system 7.5 and I want to continue with 7.1 on the Quadra. Is 
any familiar with using the Sony CRX 145S in a Quadra.
