ok, i'll mention this here as well.... i would personally use spamcop.net if i were concerned. they are cheap and use a very good set of methods that do not involve challenges or silly text scanning. i use them to report spam and a friend uses their filtering service, he's delighted with it. i have no connection with them other than being very, very happy with their reporting service which i use regularly (and such reporting does help reduce spam, you tend to be taken off the spam list since they really don't want to be reported to their isp, including those that host their site!). i've found all other filtering to be nothing more than a pain that makes the problem worse. i'll refrain from cross posting this unless the list mom thinks it's ok in this case, cross posting is another small annoyance with a few list members so i won't do it myself.
