First you take the front bezel off. It is secured by two latches on the bottom edge. Usually a finger on each pushing up does it. If they are really stubborn, I turn the whole machine upside down so I can press down on the latches. Now you can see the CD drive, but watch out -- there is a metal plate blocking one corner of it from coming out. One screw removes that plate.
