The quad doublers are for quadra's and centris systems. They run at double
the speed of the original cpu, up to 50mhz, so they can't be used on
quadra's with a 33mhz cpu originally. They are only for 20mhz and 25mhz 040
systems, upgrading them to 40mhz or 50mhz.
I'm not sure about the turbo 040, but I'm sure somebody else here can chime
in about them.

hello... new to list :)
Does anyone know the difference between the Daystar Quad 040 and the
Turbo 040? I've looked everywhere and haven't really found a general
description of both. My understanding is that the Turbo is for a Mac
II upgrade, and the Quad is for an upgrade to a quadra. But I would
like to verify this. Many thanks!
