Can you describe your current network topology? 'I have a machine running
OS X and I have a Quadra' does not provide enough information. How are
they presently connected? What is connected to what, if anything? (Is the
OS X machine connected to the Internet? If so, how? DSL/cable modem?
Dial-up? Do you have a router? A hub? A switch? Describe your network
setup.)

That should be all that's required?
Although, what does your network topology look like right now? You gave
very few details, so I'm going to GUESS that you have your Mac plugged
directly into a cable modem or DSL modem, with no 'router', right?

The Q630 is running 8.1.
OS X should offer Internet sharing. (Look for the Sharing preference
pane.) You would probably need a second ethernet interface to get the
Quadra on, though.
