Ideally the memory sizing should be done very early and probably on a
higher side than required, most of the deduplication tables can then be
placed sequentially on disk. The ones created later will most lead to
random IO and really can slow down the startup or shutdown time.

There is an option to realign the tables sequentially but it's still work
in progress.
