sure lots of message buses and DBs out there now. I think this is a
fine *long term* direction/architecture discussion.
I don't know about "long term". It'd be good to discuss and agree on
architecture stuff for the long-term in advance, but often people go and
implement behind closed doors, and then come to the list with code.
Again, OPS exists. :)
