Can someone confirm for me the status of the 'distribute-list' directive of RIPd?
http://www.nongnu.org/quagga/docs/docs-multi/Filtering-RIP-Routes.html#Filte ring-RIP-Routes I've upgrade our debian installation to Quagga 1.1.1, but any attempt to invoke 'distribute-list' results in '%Unknown Command'. This is true for both the access-list and prefix-list variants. Ex: CH1# conf t CH1(config)# router rip CH1(config-router)# distribute-list pa out eth0 %Unknown command CH1(config-router)# distribute-list prefix pb out eth0 %Unknown command Since tab-complete does not work either, I assume 'distribute-list' has been obsoleted, likely in favor of 'route-map's, but I was looking for confirmation before I give up. Also, assuming route-map's are the functional replacement, can anyone offer advice to achieve similar capability? For example, say one wanted to block announcements of 1.0.0.0/24 outbound on interface eth0. Thanks Jim C.
