someone with much more time than me has worked out some ball park figures of how much hydrogen you'd need to generate to cut mpg in half for a 20 mpg SUV..... I read the first bit and I'm sure following the other parts of his blog would give more info.. however he reckons you need around 2500 amps from a car alternator to generate the needed hydrogen and 2.2 gallons (us) of water per hour for his 60mph calcs.
