I've had teh very same idea, but starting from scratch. The trailer in the photo is only 3ft 3" wide by 4ft 6" long, so as I'm not a midget I'll build one 6ft x 4ft. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eddie" <[email protected]>

oh wow, this looks like fun :-)

how about curving the front of the unit slightly to hint of the
quantum, whilst at it, a recess area each side could be done to
simulate the headlights. This area could be then used to house marker
lights and thus complete the look.
The rear end could be shaped also to hint of the rear of the quantum
and maybe even install the same rear lights as on your car, with a
scaled down bumper area and numberplate recess it would look fairly
unique.
The sides could do with a slight modification to the lsection around
the wheel arch. Possibly this could be extended to accomodate alloy
wheels to match the car.
The top section could be a little more tricky. By recessing the top in
the middle by say an inch and the raising the surrounding area into a
slight curve, it would be possible to make a centre section that could
raise by a foot or two with 4 sides that fold up, one with an access
door that opens out and gain some more loading space for small items.
On this part think of folding type caravans.
Build the whole lot for grp to keep weight down and a very unique
"quantum trailer" is born.
Ok there you go, another plot well and truly lost, but what fun. I
envy you with that one. Enjoy
Eddie
