Just thought I'd let you know progress on my LSD project.

I have had both uprights altered to take a lobro CV joint, and
refitted the suspension. I took the chance to 'fettle' the fixings
from the wishbones to the uprights, as from the look of it, the lower
'ears' of the upright were being squeezed in. I have eased them out,
and used spacers to take up the slack.

The top mounts took a little easing too, as when the weight of the car
is on the suspension, the top 'ears' and spacer washers were touching
on the bottom of the shock.

I think this combimation of binding parts has been causing my
suspension squeak.

So this weekend I swapped the diff over - fun and games balancing on
the top of a trolley jack... and fitting the driveshafts. I am glad to
say that it all fitted together nicely.

I have had a small calamity with over tightening a few bolts on the
driveshafts so need to get them sorted for next weekend's Detling
extraveganza.

Once I have it all tightened up properly I will have to fit in a shake
down run or two.

Looking forward to seeing you guys at Detling if all goes well.
