Once more unto the breech - I'm up at sparrowfart tomorrow to get over
to Hereford, where Q359 is sulking because I haven't seen it for a
while... time to spend a day fettling a little further.

I've got four new (to me) 15" wheels in the car (the five/twin spokes
from the Focus), new 260mm disks and pads, Mondeo V6 callipers and
mounts, and a set of shiny new KYB ultra-SR shocks. After all the fun
and games with the unidentifiable hubs, I've acquired a set of XR2i
hubs, shafts, carriers etc, and they're going on so I can play
measuring springs. I'll need new springs, but I don't know the loading
on the current ones, so I need to do some maths on the spring rates
and lengths so I know what to order. Messrs. Faulkners provide a nice
fat range of springs and very nice prices.
