Reading through the copy of Practical Classics that comes through the
post, it struck me that it wouldn't do any harm to see if they were
interested in doing a feature on the various Quantum cars?

Values of our cars seem to be pretty low these days, and that must
affect the viability of many potential restoration projects. To
improve their visibility outside the usual kit-car fraternity can't do
any harm, and as "Hand Built British Sports Cars" they have to be an
affordable and practical alternative to the usual spitfires, midgets,
mgbs, etc.

The magazine seems to be quite open-minded in their approach to what
vehicles they include, and has a huge circulation. It's in most
newsagents and supermarkets. They have been featuring a never-ending
Westfield build for at least a couple of years now, and that has to be
a much less practical car than the Quantums. It also struck me that
they might be interested in the QMOPS activities.

My suggestion would be to see if they would be interested in doing a
couple of pages introducing the marque, with some nice glossy photos
of the various models and some words from someone knowledgeable and
experienced, about the sort of things to look out for, typical market
values, spares prices, etc.

So, what do you think?

Dave.
