What diagnostics have you carried out to ensure that the relay is
faulty? not a wiring defect, possibly by the bonnet hinge or knackered
bulbs?
(have seen weird things happen to lights because the lamp arked across
the contacts).

I was driving in the rain the other day.
Side lights on when I heard the lights on Buzer sound.
I had all the dors shut.
Noticed the blue high beam light on the dash, but I had not turned
them on.
Stoped and checked the lights.
No side lights front or back.
Or head lights.
Full / main beam and flush worked OK.
I odered What ford chap said was right part, and blown a 10 amp fuse.
Odered and fitted part number 86GG14K083AA
Head lights now work but still no Side lights.
