To update what Jim has replied, with additional detail:

2. Yes, as it's in a Zetec engined H4, so will be Mk3 Fiesta based.

4. Yes, as above, Zetec engined donor.

Any luck with someone to perform the conversion for you?

Regards,
Steve

I can’t remember if the 1.6 Zetec uses a smaller clutch than the 1.8
Zetec, if it does you may need to change the flywheel to a 1.8 Zetec
one.

1. Use the RS turbo setup, all 3 parts, subject to above.
2. Yes, as long as your gearlinkage is the later Mk2 Fiesta version
without the push power reverse. 3. Yes
4. Yes, as long as they weren’t from a 1.1 before.

Subject: [Quantum Owners] 2.0 Mondeo Silvertop Zetec and IB5 Series 2 LSD
Gearbox - which clutch to use

I have now acquired a 2.0 Monedo Silvertop Engine and an Escort RS Turbo
Series 2 Gearbox, I am aware that I have to change the Mondeo flywheel
and I was intending to fit the flywheel from my existing 1.6 Zetec
Silvertop engine, can anyone help me with some guidance on the
following.

1. I would like to fit a new clutch and I am not sure which clutch to
use, I may be able to get a new Escort RS Turbo series 2 clutch but I
don't know if this will suit the flywheel?

2. Will my existing gear linkage work with the new gearbox?

3. Will my existing cable clutch work withe the new gearbox?

4. Will the existing driveshafts work with the new gearbox?

Many thanks

Andrew
