Looks like a standard CVH stat housing from the picture.

The ZVH is a CVH head and a Zetec block so most head parts will be from a CVH

I guess your dealer is being there usual (apart from mine luckily) non helpful 
selves if you can’t give them a reg number.

One from an EFI CVH should be correct, try giving them the reg H543 GHK, this 
is a 1990 XR2i thats currently on Ebay, that should get you the right part.

Subject: [Quantum Owners] More cooling system woes

Picture shows the thermostat housing on a ZVH engine.

Local dealers say that they do not recognise the housing.   Can anyone help 
with this please? As you can see the metal pipe to which the hose to the 
overflow tank should be connected has broken off the top of the housing.

The engine was built in 2000 and the block was bought second hand in 1998.
