i had the same issue changing from the 1.1 crossflow to the CVH just at the time they introduced this latest legislation
to compound the problem the engine number was illegible on the CVH i wrote to the DVLA including photos of the 2 engines (don’t know if this was necessary) including a brief write up on what i had done and a letter from a VAT registered garage stating that they confirm that the new engine installed is indeed a 1.6 CVH (in my case) and that’s it,all done, if you know a friendly garage who you trust (and more importantly trust you) you could get them to write it on faith if your car is off the road but that may or may not be naughty, i had no need for engineers report, that was taken care of by the mot unless its a radical change, hope that helps On Sunday, July 21, 2013 6:02:00 PM UTC+1, Sir Lancelot wrote: > Hi, > > Does anyone have any experience of informing DVLC on engine exchanges?
