I did, but it was past my bedtime last night. Actually, you are best asking here as i don’t actually know, I’ve never done anything with RWD Fords. I had a Sierra for a while but apart from a lot of welding didn’t do anything on it. I know there is a Type 9 and a MT75 but not fits what. Jim “Gearbox went bang on my Rickman today (ell more like rattle, rattle rattle - but not good). It's been getting increasingly difficult to change gear, so I guessed it was on the way out. Anyway, I've located a (relatively) local Sierra 1.8LX 1991 for sale, so I'm thinking the way to go is to buy the whole car and rob the gearbox (at least I'll know if it works), sell as best I can the rest of the bits on ebay, and scrap the shell. Any advice (re the box). It looks like they will all fit (if 1.6, 1.8 or 2.0), the speedo if elec can be changed to my existing cable? Any other points to watch for?
