I was out in the rain yesterday and as you can imagine I had to use my wipers. All was ok for atleast half an hour, with the wipers either on intermittent or slow. For no reason my wipers stopped working; I pulled over, fuse was ok. The bulkhead above the heater matrix was hot; hotter than I expected. started the car after 15mins and the wipers were working again and have been working since! Any ideas; does the wiper motor have a thermal trip on it? Has anyone else experienced the same problem?
I was impressed with my Xtreme it was faultless otherwise on such a wet journey; the A339 was like a river with stones in the central part of the road!
