If this is on your 2+2 then, yes, there should be spacers between the steering rack mounting lugs and the spacerframe. Without them the body of the rack will touch the spaceframe first and bend or snap the lugs on the rack. >From memory it’s not the same amount of spacing on each side either. Jim. Hi I was wondering if the spacer/washer is required when fitting the steering rack as my one has cracked and I believe this was caused by the spacer.
