Taking it apart is the easy bit, well, it took about 4 days and still not quite finished.
Putting it back together will be the fun bit.

No damage to the body or floor mouldings itself, only the added fibreglass joining the 2. Oh, and where i cut the body into 3 parts, otherwise it would have been almost impossible to move. But apart from those cuts, one across the middle of the sills, and one down the front wings (i've a thought to make it a flip front like the 2+2) all cuts were were where the original joints were. And one horizontal cut across the vertical rear panel behind the X brace (or on mine a Y brace as one end had rusted off), that left part of it on the body and part on the floor and reinforced both of them.

I think it would have been almost impossible (or at least taken 10 times longer) without using a multitool (the ones with the oscillating blades).
With that i could plunge directly into the joints.

There were some surprises in the construction, i will give details later as some are worth bearing in mind for other owners.

Jim,

All I can say is WOW!

Did it cause much damage to the fibre glass when you pulled it apart?

Regards,
Steve
