Still haven't started on the UGF import, but I've got a "Guess Mode" which is useful for SGF go problems or memorizing games. It doesn't give any feedback about how close you are (like eidogo does) but I don't think that's a good idea anyway in the case of a tsumego - you just want to know if you're wrong.
You can pull from ethanbs-quarry/master. If the child of the current node has variations attached, a click on the right coordinate will move into whatever variation corresponds - it isn't limited to the main line. Not tested with multiple variations starting with the same move, although I'm not sure we should allow a game tree to contain those anyway (quarry currently allows this).
