Also, you will not be able to drag out Consumer patches into a Macro with published outputs.

Instead of dragging, try double-clicking it when you see it in the Patch creator… and it should jump right-in.

Also, go to the QC preferences menu and select the tab: Clips. Look for the clip you just created and it should let you know exactly where it is located in your system.
