If you get the Directory Scanner to evaluate (i.e. plug it into a consumer
patch (?)) then you can mouse over its output and see a tooltip that
describes the structure; at least that's how it used to be--haven't
confirmed this in the new version.  Maybe Javascript can output a structure
to the console?

Someone should make a debugger patch with the new QCPlugin API that dumps
structures...like PHP's print_r().
